Trial Preparation

    Phil has been involved in hundreds of jury trials during his 35 year career as a professional investigator. From this experience, he has developed particular expertise in testimony evaluation as it affects presentation, credibility, and jury impact. Witnesses and involved parties must often be located, reinterviewed, and evaluated after lengthy discovery and trial setting delays. Investigative Consulting

    Most investigators are not able to provide meaningful guidance during the early phase of fact analysis and case development.With his experience as a claims supervisor handling multi-line large losses, Phil developed the skill of separating the wheat from the chaff early on. Since then, over the last 35 years, Phil has been providing clients his advice concerning investigative recommendations on thousands of cases of every variety. From fatalities to fires, Phil is able to identify the focal issues that must be explored. As important as understanding the issues, Phil has an exceptional talent for thinking "outside the box" as to how to find the answers. Lastly, Phil is able to incorporate all the pieces to paint the "big picture" for his legal clients.

Locate/Interview

    One of the most common road blocks in many legal matters is locating the known or unknown witnesses in order to establish the client's case. Difficult "locates" usually involve persons who are not yet known or, if known, do not have phones or addresses for contact. Phil is able to persuade neighbors, relatives, and friends to help find the truth through locating the needed witness. Once found, it becomes equally important to understand the individual, while establishing trust and rapport. Only then can it really be established what information the witness may know. Most investigators rush the interview process and lose the confidence of the witness who feels they are being used by an advocate of an interested party.
